Martin Park Nature Center is a 140-acre nature park created to provide opportunities on nature education for the residents of Oklahoma and visitors at large. The park is a perfect hub for nature exploration as well as education. This is achieved through the blend of education and recreation offered by the park.

The park features a nature center building that highlights the plants and animals of Oklahoma. Included within the park is a picnic area, playground and a browsing library. Martin Park Nature Center is a breakout from urban life with over three miles of trail wander which passes through the wildlife sanctuary and recreational area.
On-site at the park are three hiking trails, bird observation and a watchtower. The hiking trails lead around a large pond, along the bubbling Spring Creek, beside wildflower meadows and through the park’s woodland. The INTEGRIS Jim Thorpe Rehabilitation Courage Trail, one of the trails, features an enlarged walkway and boardwalks which are suitable for visitors with mobility limitations.
Martin Park is home to animals like deer, owls, foxes, cottontail rabbits, opossum, skunk, coyote, muskrat, armadillo, beaver, and a variety of birds.
Admission to the Martin Park Nature Center is free while guided tours are available for school and other group trips at a fee of $2 per person (with a minimum of 5 people). The park is open Wednesdays through Sundays from 9 A.M to 6 P.M. The park is closed on City holidays, Christmas, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day and Thanksgiving.
