PASEO Oklahoma City

24/7 emergency towing

Just about 2.5 miles north of Oklahoma City’s downtown, Paseo is bordered by North Walker Avenue to the east, North Western Avenue to the west, NW 24th Street to the south and NW 30th Street to the north.

There are numerous historical neighborhoods in the immediate region including, Heritage Hills, Gatewood, Edgemere, Mesta Park, and Jefferson Park. The Northwest Business District and 39th is to the west while Enclave and Eastside is due east. Chinatown neighborhood, usually referred to as Asia District and Oklahoma City University is immediately on the southwest of the city. Basically, the city’s Neighborhood Historic District was not listed on the National Register of Historic Places, not until 2004.

Paseo is a spirited area, serving as a home to over 20 galleries. Coupled with galleries are top-notch restaurants serving Asian food, New American cuisine and other casual food like burgers. The area is also characterised by boutiques, unique art schools and other businesses. In the cool of the day, there is a shift of atmosphere captioning the bustling mix of trendy cocktail lounges, billiards, live music and bars offering karaoke.

Paseo, from the first five decades of the 21st century, stands as an example of architectural styles. The Neighborhood Historic District hosts notable sites, the Fairlawn Cemetery in the northwest of the district and a Mission/Spanish Colonial Revival artists’ studio and a shopping district that is locally referred to as/known as “The Paseo”.

The striking shopping center over the years has become a pulling force for citizens in Paseo and the surrounding neighborhood. Not only that, the Oklahoma Railway Company’s electric streetcar line extending from OKC downtown business center running through the center of the Paseo neighbourhood, easy access to public transportation alongside with the 1920s booming economy, has tremendously made the Paseo Neighborhood Historic District a desirable residential area.

National Folk, Bungalow/Craftsman, Classical Revival, Tudor Revival, and Mission/Spanish Colonial Revival are prominent architectural styles existing in the Paseo Neighborhood Historic District.

A significant feature in Paseo’s neighborhood which cannot be overemphasized is ” The Paseo Arts District”. It was built in 1929 by G.A. Nichols, initially known as the “Spanish village” beginning as the very first district where shopping occurs, located on the northern side of Oklahoma City downtown in the late 1920s, and in the 1970s it was formally transitioned to OKC’s first arts district. Today, the district hosts above 20 galleries, several notable restaurants, upscale boutiques, and lots more, all within reasonable walking distance.

So I got into a wreck on 4/18 and they came and towed my car and gave me their business card, and I came to pick up some stuff out of it, it was hailing and raining HARD, and they still had someone come out to meet me so I could get my stuff! Had to come back the next day to get my tag and the guy was very sweet and helpful!
